This article depicts the NCAA Men's Football Championship Subdivision Alignment History—specifically, all schools that have competed in the lower tier of NCAA Division I college football since Division I football was split into two subdivisions in 1978. This includes schools competing in: * Division I-AA from 1978 through 2005 * Division I FCS since 2006 Teams in ''bold italics'' are now in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS); those in ''plain italics'' either play football in lower divisions or not at all. Teams followed by an asterisk ( *) dropped football. Dates reflect when a team began play in I-AA/FCS, not when it became eligible for postseason play. As of the most recently completed 2014 season, only one team transitioning from FCS to FBS was classified as an FCS member—Charlotte. That school began a football program for the first time in 2013, at the same time it became a full but initially non-football member of the FBS-level Conference USA. Charlotte played as an FCS independent in both 2013 and 2014, became a transitional FBS member in 2015, and will gain full FBS membership in 2016. Three other schools that began FBS transitions in 2013—Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, and Old Dominion—were provisional FBS members in 2014 and became full FBS members in 2015. The article reflects these dates. Three other schools were classified as FCS members in 2013, but did not play FCS schedules. Abilene Christian and Incarnate Word, which began the reclassification process from Division II to Division I in 2013, played Division II schedules that season. Houston Baptist began a football program in 2013 and played a partial schedule. All three schools, which joined the Southland Conference for non-football sports in July 2013, played full Southland schedules in 2014. Abilene Christian and Incarnate Word will be ineligible for the FCS playoffs until the 2017 season. School names reflect those in current use, not necessarily those used by a school when it competed in I-AA/FCS. Specifically, three schools were known by different names throughout their entire tenure in Division I-AA/FCS: * Louisiana-Monroe — Northeast Louisiana * Troy — Troy State * West Texas A&M — West Texas State ==A== * Abilene Christian 2013–present *Alabama A&M 1999–present *''Akron 1980–1986'' *Alabama State 1982–present *Albany (N.Y.) 1999–present *Alcorn State 1978–present *''Appalachian State 1982–2013'' *Arkansas-Pine Bluff 1998–present *''Arkansas State 1982–1991'' *Austin Peay 1978–present 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「NCAA Men's Division I Football Championship Subdivision alignment history」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
